Core Stability
Core stability is an area of weakness for most of us.
It is a crucial area of our body we need to keep strengthened and amongst other things having good core stability can help alleviate lower back pain.
To help improve your tummy muscles, the key muscles you need to work are the rectus abdominis, obliques and quadratus lumborum.
Over the years I had become quite fond of my beer gut. I accepted and decided it would never change. My decision to go for it and see if I could achieve a six-pack was for many reasons but not for reasons of vanity.
Our core stability training programmes include a raft of exercises that will keep you challenged. On a personal note, the reason we have weak core muscles is this type of training hurts.
However the results are impressive if not spectacular.
Sits-up, crunches, the plank, back extensions and v sit-ups are a few of the exercise we’ll be doing if the focus for you is around your core muscles.
